TheDAN&P (Diploma in Ayurveda Nurse & Compounder - Pharmacy) is the flagship course of Bhagwan Mahaveer Ayurved Nurse & Compounder Training Center, Kachroli, Hindaun City, Karauli. This comprehensive 2.5-year (30 months) diploma program is a unique integrated curriculum that combines three essential domains of Ayurveda healthcare—Nursing, Compounder (Pharmacy), and Drug Preparation—into a single, well-structured course.

The course is approved by the Department of Medical Education, Government of Rajasthan, and affiliated to the Rajasthan State Council of Indian Medicine (RSCIM). The curriculum follows the syllabus and norms prescribed by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), ensuring that our graduates meet national standards of Ayurvedic healthcare education and are recognized across the country for employment and higher studies.

Students gain in-depth knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts (Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya), fundamental principles of Ayurveda, human anatomy & physiology, Dravyaguna (pharmacognosy), Rasa Shastra (mineral medicine), Bhaishajya Kalpana (Ayurvedic pharmacy), Panchakarma procedures, nursing fundamentals, patient care, and modern pharmaceutical practices. The program combines rigorous classroom teaching with extensive practical training in our well-equipped pharmacy lab and attached Ayurvedic hospital.

Course Syllabus (Semester-wise)

Semester 1 (First 6 Months): Sanskrit for Ayurveda, Ayurveda Itihas (History of Ayurveda), Padartha Vigyan (Basic Principles), Sharir Rachana (Anatomy), Sharir Kriya (Physiology), introduction to Ayurvedic texts.

Semester 2 (6-12 Months): Dravyaguna Vigyan (Pharmacognosy - study of medicinal plants), Rasa Shastra (Mineral Medicine), Bhaishajya Kalpana (Ayurvedic Pharmacy - basic formulations), Fundamentals of Nursing.

Semester 3 (12-18 Months): Advanced Bhaishajya Kalpana (Kwath, Churna, Vati, Avaleha, Taila preparation), Panchakarma theory & procedures, Patient care & hygiene, First Aid & Emergency Care.

Semester 4 (18-24 Months): Rasa Shastra (Advanced), Quality Control of Ayurvedic Medicines, Hospital Pharmacy Management, Medical-Surgical Nursing (Ayurveda), Midwifery & Community Health Nursing.

Semester 5 (24-30 Months): Compulsory Hospital Internship, Panchakarma practical training, Drug manufacturing practical, Project work, Viva-voce & Final Examination.

Certificate in Panchakarma Therapy

6-Months Skill Certificate Program • NSDC Aligned

The Certificate in Panchakarma Therapy is a six-month specialized skill development program aligned with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) framework. This course is designed for working professionals, BAMS graduates, and individuals seeking to specialize in the practical aspects of Panchakarma—the five purification procedures that form the cornerstone of Ayurvedic detoxification therapy.

The curriculum covers theoretical foundations of Panchakarma, indications and contraindications of each procedure, pre-operative (Purva Karma), main procedures (Pradhana Karma), and post-operative care (Paschat Karma). Extensive hands-on practice ensures students become confident in performing Abhyanga, Swedana, Shirodhara, Vamana, Virechana, Basti, and Nasya under expert supervision.
